God doesn’t need our good works, but our neighbor does. As Lutherans, we are called to use our lives to do God’s work in the world by sharing the wonders of God’s grace with others. Lutherans are known for their outreach programs. 1 in 50 Americans plus many others around the world receive help from the Lutheran church. It could be as simple as tutoring a child in an after-school program, or as complex as working with governments to eradicate hunger throughout the world. In many and various ways, every day members of Trinity are making the world a better place.
Katie Beckman is a recent high school graduate, and is currently pursing a college degree in Education. Katie was very active in her home church, and is a real g0-getter! During the worst of COVID-19, when so many people were isolated and unable to work, Katie raised funds and delivered food to many, many people in her community. We are so excited to welcome Katie to our church!
